Asphalt Silo Cleaning

Temperature controlled and continuous flow to keep your plant always productive.
In the asphalt industry, every second counts and operational efficiency depends largely on the good condition of your storage silos. At Alpha Silo Cleaning INC, we offer you the Specialized Asphalt Silo Cleaning Service which is designed to safely and efficiently remove asphalt adhered to the internal walls, restoring the silo’s functional capacity and ensuring an adequate discharge flow.
We work with specific tools and under technical protocols that allow us to intervene without damaging the structure or altering the heating system of the silo, achieving lasting results with minimal interruption in your operations.
Asphalt Silo Cleaning
With constant use and exposure to high temperatures, asphalt begins to adhere and harden on the internal walls of the silo, generating layers of residue that directly affect the performance of the system. If not removed in time, this buildup can cause:
- Obstruction in the asphalt discharge, which stops production.
- Loss of internal temperature control, affecting the quality of the material.
- Accelerated wear on heating elements and heating systems
- Reduction of useful storage capacity
- Increased risk of internal fires due to accumulation of old material
- High operating costs due to unplanned maintenance or structural failures
Regular professional cleaning ensures uniform flow, reduces silo thermal stress and avoids operational failures that can shut down the entire plant.
Asphalt Silo Cleaning Process
Our technical and safe process is designed to adapt to the specific conditions of each silo, working with certified equipment and qualified personnel:
1 - Silo inspection and diagnosis.
We evaluate the level and location of adhered residues, thermal conditions, access to the interior of the silo and the general condition of the system.
2 - Deactivation and system assurance.
We shut down heating systems, cool the silo to safe levels and block unauthorized access. All this is done under strict safety standards.
3. Mechanical removal of adhering asphalt.
For this process we use high temperature resistant tools, percussion hammers and thermal scrapers that allow us to remove the hardened asphalt without damaging the internal lining of the silo.
4 - Removal of the loosened material.
The material is carefully removed to ensure that the discharge system is completely free and functional.
5 - Post-cleaning inspection and recommendations.
We perform a complete visual inspection and provide you with a report on the final condition of the silo, along with recommendations for future maintenance.
